Product name: Aluminum sulfate octadecahydrate Molecular formula: AI2(S04)3 ·18H2O

Appearance: White shiny crystals, granules or powder. At 86.5℃, part of the crystal water is lost and a white powder is formed. It decomposes into aluminum trioxide at about 600°C. Easily soluble in water, almost insoluble in ethanol, the solution is acidic.

Application areas

1. Used as analytical reagent.
2. Used as a buffer in sulfate galvanizing to stabilize the pH value of the plating solution. It can also be used in acidic galvanizing and cadmium plating electrolytes.

3. It is also used as lithium battery material, electronic chemicals, high-end clay toys, and in tannery, papermaking, pharmaceutical and other fields.
